Interstate 70, through central and eastern Missouri, was closed down for a while because of snow and ice. The closure stranded many motorists and workers along the highway. That was an unusually spotty storm. The part of St. Louis where I live received mostly sleet and not much snow at all. And the main roads seem to be cleared off now. A good storm but certainly no 1982.
